Deed from Samuel and Thomas JONES to Jared SPENCER

Know all men by these presents that we Samuel JONES & Thomas JONES both of Saybrook in ye County of New London and Colony of Connecticut for & in Consideration of ye sum of thirteen pounds ten shilling shave sold and by these presents do give grant bargain sell enfeoff and confirm unto Jared SPENCER of Saybrook aforesaid one parcel of land scituate lying and being in Oyster River Quarter in Saybrook aforesaid & was laid out with some land of ye said Jared SPENCER March ye twenty ninth one thousand Seven hundred & fifteen neer said SPENCER's other lands & is bounded North on said SPENCER's other Lands East & South and West on ye Commons land Northwest corner a walnut tree laying s;d SPENCER's land then running Eastward to a Birch Tree Sixty rods from thence South to a birch Tree Eighty six Rods then running West to a Chestnut tree forty four rods then running North to the first mentioned one hundred and twenty rods from us the said Samuel JONES & Thomas JONES & our heirs to him the said Jared SPENCER & his heirs & assigns forever to have hold occupie possess & quietly injoy the said land above mentioned to be sold to him and the said Samuel JONES & Thomas JONES do by these presents for themselves & their heirs executors administrators and assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times hereafter injoy the above s'd bargained premises with all the privileges and appurtainances thereunto belonging without the lawfull lett eviction disturbance of Incumbrance of us or either of us or our heirs executors administrators or any from or under us them or any of them or any other particular person whatsoever & for the Confirmation of all the premises we have sett our hands and Seals this Last day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen
