Entered June 7th 1752

To all People to whom these Presents Shall Come Greeting Know Ye that I Josiah HURD of Killingworth in ye County of New London & Coloney of Conecticut in New England for and in Consideration of ye Sum of four pounds Current money of New England to me in Hand Paid at ye Ensealing and Delivering Hereof well and truly Paid by Daniel HURD Said Killingworth wherewith I am Fully Satisfied & Contented do Give Grant Sell Bargain Convey and Confirm unto ye said Daniel HURD His Heirs and Assigns forever a Certain Piece of Land Scituate Lying within ye Township of Killingworth on ye west Side of ?? House Lott Beginning at ye Highway running Southerly forty Seven Rods & a half to ye Land which was formerly Thomas HULLS & thence west four Rods to Said HURD's Land then Northerly Forty Seven Rods & Half to ye Highway thence East four Rods to ye first Corner Containing one acre & 50 rods North by Highway Every way else by Said HURD's Land To Have & to Hold ye above Granted & Bargained remises together with all ye appurtenances Priviledges and Comodities thereto belonging or in any wise belonging there to him ye said Daniel HURD his Heirs and Assigns forever to his and their only Proper Use Benefit & Behoof forever & also I ye said Josiah HURD for my Self Heirs Executors & Administrators do Hereby Covenant & Grant unto him ye s'd Daniel HURD his Heirs and assigns that at ye Ensealing hereof I am ye Sole owner of ye above Granted Premises and am Lawfully Seised of ye same as a good indefesible Estate in fee simple & have good Right to Bargain & Sell ye Same in manner and form as is above written and that ye Same is free of all Incumbrances whatsoever rand also forever to warrant & Secure ye Same to him them against all Claims of all Persons whomsoever in witness whereof I have Hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this 19th day of June 1752
