Know all men by these presents that I Ebenezer HURD of Killingworth in the County of Newlondon and Coloney of Conecticut in New England yeoman for and In Consideration of ye sum of thirty pounds Currant money of the Coloney afore s'd to me in hand before the Ensealeing here of well and truly paid by my son Elnathan HURD of the Town County and Coloney afore s'd the Receipt where of I Do hereby acknowledg Have Given Granted Bargained sold and by these presents Do fully Clearly and absolutly Give Grant Bargain and sell unto him the s'd Elnathan HURD his heirs and assigns forever y'e one sixth part of a Certain Ironworks situate In Killingwroth afore s'd being and standing on maminquetesuck river above the Grist mill together with all the Right in s'd River stream and all Iron mine and Coalwood Belonging to y'e s'd one sixth part of s'd Iron works with all the Rights privilidges and appurtenances thereunto belonging To Have and To Hold the s'd Granted and Bargained presents to him the s'd Elnathan HURD his heirs and assigns forever to his and their only proper use benifit and behoof forever and I the s'd Ebenezer HURD my heirs Executors and Administrators and Every of us y'e s'd Bargained premises unto y'e s'd Elnathan HURD his heirs and assigns will warrant acquite and Defend against y'e Lawfull Claimes or Demands of any person or persons whatsoever In witness where of I the s'd Ebenezer HURD Have hereunto set my hand and seale this twenty fifth day of Septmeber Anno=Dom: one thousand seven Hundred and twenty four and In the Eleventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George King of Great Brittain &c
