To all People to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that I Josiah HURD of ye Town of Killingworth in ye County of Newlondon and Coloney of Conecticut in New England for and in Consideration of vallue Received of Samuel BUELL of s'd Killingworth Do give grant Bargain sell Convey and Confirm unto him the s'd Samuel BUELL his heirs and assigns forever a Certain parcel of Land Scituate Lying and being within the Township of s'd Killingworth Bounded northerly thirty five Rods, by s'd BUELL's Land westerly sixteen Rods and a quarter by the highway Easterly sixteen Rods and one quarter by my own Land and southerly thirty five Rods by my own Land Containing four acres To Have and to Hold ye above Granted and Bargained premises with all the appurtenances privilidges and Comodities there unto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the s'd Samuel BUEL his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper Use benefit and behoof forever and also I the said Josiah HURD Do for my self my Heirs Executors and administrators Covenant promise? and grant to and with the said Samuel BUELL his heirs and assigns that at and untill the Ensealing and delivery here of I am seised of the premises of a good Indefeasible Estate in fee simple and have Good Right to Bargain and sell the same in manner and form of above written and that the same is free of all Incumbrances whatsoever and furthermore I the s'd Josiah HURD Do by these presents Bind my self my heirs Executors and administrators forever to warrant and defend the above granted premises to him the said Samuel BUELL his heirs and assigns against all Claims and demands whatsoever In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand & seale this 8th Day of October In the Eleventh year of his majesties Reign A.D. 1736

Killingworth October ye 8th day Ad 1737 then Came Josiah HURD the signer and sealer to the above written Instrument and acknowledged the same to be his free act and Deed before me David BUELL Justice of ye peace
