Entered November y'e 25th 1726

To all Christian People to whome these presents Shall come Greeting Know ye that I Ebenezer HURD of Killingworth in the County of Newlondon and Coloney of Conecticut in New England yeoman for and in Consideration of the sum of forty one pounds Currant money of the Coloney afore s'd to me in hand before the Ensealeing hereof well and truly paid by Josiah BUELL of the town County and Coloney afore s'd Joyner the Receipt where of I Do hereby acknowledg Have Given Granted Bargained Sold aliened Conveyed and Confirmed and by these presents Do freely fully and absolutly Give Grant Bargain sell alien Convey and Confirm unto him the s'd Josiah BUELL his heirs and assigns forever a Certain Tract or parcel of land scituate in Killingworth afore s'd it being a part of my home Lott and is in Breadth Eight Rods, in length from the high way or Country Roade to the Cove Bounded Northerly by the hishway, Southerly by the sale Cove, Eastewardly by Ebenezer CRANE's Home lot Together with all the fences and fruit trees thereunto belonging To Have and To Hold the s'd Granted and Bargained premises with all the appurtenances privilidges Comodities And Right in Commons and after Divisions to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the s'd Josiah BUELL his heirs and assigns forever to his and their only proper use benifit and behoof forever and I the s'd Ebenezer HURD for my self my Heirs Executors and Administrators Do Covenant promise and Grant to and with the s'd Josiah BUELL his heirs and assigns that before the Ensealeing hereof I am the true sole and Lawfull owner of the above Bargained premises and have in my self Good Right full power and Lawfull authority to Bargain and sell the same in manner of above s'd and that the s'd Josiah BUELL his heirs and assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times forever here after by force and vertue of these presents Lawfully peaceably and quietly have hold use occupie possess and Enjoy the s'd Granted premises free and Clear freely and Clearly acquitted Exonerated and discharged of and from all and all manner of former or other Gifts Grants Bargains sales or Incumbrances in the Law whatsoever moreover I the s'd Ebenezer HURD for my self my heirs Executors and Administrators Do Covenant and Engage the above Demised premises unto him the s'd Josiah BUELL his heirs and assigns against the Lawfull Claimes or Demands of any person or persons whomsoever forever here after to warrant secure and defend in witness whereof I the s'd Ebenezer HURD have hereunto set my hand and seale this twenty fifth Day of October Anno=Dom: one thousand seven hundred and twenty six and in the thirteenth year of his majesties Reign George King of Great Brittain &c
