Entered March y'e 19th 1726

To all Christian People to whome Presents Shall Come I Ebenezer CRANE of Killingworth in the County of Newlondon in the Coloney of Conectict in New England sendeth Greeting Know ye that I the s'd Ebenezer CRANE for and in Consideration of the full summ of thirty nine pounds Current money by me already received in hand of Jared ELIOT of Killingworth in the County and Coloney afore s'd Clerk the Receipt whereof I Do acknowledg my self therewith fully satisfied and fully contented Have and Do by these presents from me my heirs Executors and administrators fully freely and absolutly, Give, Grant, alienate, Bargain, sell, make over convey and Confirm unto the above mentioned Jared Eliot his heirs and assigns forever a Certain tract of Land on Longhill within the township of Killingworth afore s'd being ninty Rods in length twenty four Rods in Breadth and nine feet Containing thirteen acres and twenty Rods Bounded Southerly on Land formerly belonging to Ebenezer HURD, now belonging to s'd Jared ELIOT and on the west End on the Common and Easterly on the Common or highway also northerly on the Common which I mak over and have here by Given Granted made over conveyed and Confirmed the same to the s'd Jared Eliot together with all the privilidges Comonages or Lands there from arising there unto belonging together with all Rights and appurtenances thereunto belonging or any waies appertaining To Have and to Hold all and singular of the above Bargained premises unto his and their sole use benifit and behoof forever as a fee Clear Estate In fee simple and I the s'd Ebenezer CRANE Do hereby Covenant promise & agree to and with the s'd Jared ELIOT his heirs and assigns as followeth that I am the true sole and Lawfull owner of the above Bargained premises and have full power and Lawfull authority to sell the same as above s'd and do hereby bind my self my heirs Executors and Administrators from the Lawfull Claimes of any person or persons the sale of the above mentioned to him the s'd Jared ELIOT forever to warrand secure and Defend In witness where of I the s'd Ebenezer CRANE have hereunto set my hand and seale this 28 day of October Anno=Dom one thousand seven hundred and twenty five and in the twelveth year of the Reign of our Soveraig Lord George King of Great Brittain &c
