Deed from Samuell CHAPMAN 2nd to Abraham CHALKER

To all People to whom these presents shall come, Greeting: Know ye That I Samuell CHAPMAN ye 2nd. Of Say-Brook in ye County of New London in New England for the Consideration of Thirty two pounds ten shillings money which I have in hand received of Abraham CHALKER of Say-Brook Have granted and conveyed and conveyed and by these presents Do give grant Bargain sell and convey unto the said Abraham CHALKER his heirs and assigns forever all that my piece or parcel of meadow lying in Say-Brook aforesaid Eastward of my Dwelling House and Southward of Oyster River Bridge and is Bounded Westerly on a Ditch and Southerly on a ditch that divides between this piece and Samuel DUNK's Meadow and every way else on Oyster River, and contains within the bounds aforesaid three acre and 98 rods.

To have and to Hold the above granted and bargained premises with ye appurtenances unto him ye said Abraham CHALKER his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use and Behoof.

And also I ye said Samuell CHAPMAN Do for myself my heirs executors and Administrators Covenant with ye said Abraham CHALKER his heirs and assigns that at and until ye ensealing of these presents I am lawfully seized of ye Premises as a good indefeasible estate in Fee Simple and have good Right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written and that the same is free of all Incumbrances whatsoever and Furthermore I ye said Sam'll CHAPMAN Do by these presents Bind myself my heirs forever to Warrant and Defend the above granted and Bargained Premises to the said Abraham CHALKER his heirs and assigns against all claims and demands whatsoever.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 1st day of February in ye tenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George ye Second of great Brittain &c. King. Anno domini 1736/7.
