Deed from Stephen CHALKER to His Loving Sister, Deborah CHALKER

To All People to whom these presents shall come, Greeting:-

Know ye that I Stephen CHALKER of Say-Brook in the County of New London and Colony of Connecticut in New England for the consideration of Ninety four pounds six shillings in money the consideration which is due to my loving sister Deborah CHALKER of Saybrook by virtue of ye will of our hon'rd father Stephen CHALKER late of Say-Brook Dec'd I the said Stephen CHALKER have given granted conveyed and by these presents do give grant bargain sell and confirm unto the above mentioned Deborah CHALKER her heirs and assigns forever Sixty three acres of land in the Township of Saybrook, in Oyster River Quarter and the tract of land being part of said CHALKER's land lying neer the West bounds of Quarter as may appear of Record.

To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with all the appurtenances unto her the said Deborah CHALKER her heirs and assigns forever to her and their own proper use and Behoof.

And also I the said Stephen CHALKER do for myself my heirs executors and administrators covenant with the said Deborah CHALKER her heirs and assigns that at and until the ensealing of these presents I am seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written, and that the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever.

And Furthermore I the said Stephen CHALKER do by these presents bind myself my heirs forever to Warrant and Defend the above granted and bargained premises to her the said Deborah CHALKER her heirs and assigns forever against all claims and demands whatsoever.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the seventh day of December in ye twelvth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second of Great Brittain &c., King Annoque Domini 1739.
