Know all Men by these Presents, That we Daniel CARTER & Hannah CARTER of Killingworth in the County of Middlesex and State of Connecticut and Nathaniel POST and Abigail POST of the town or Norway in the County of Herkimer & State of New York for divers good causes and considerations thereunto moving, especially for the consideration of Forty seven dollars received to our full satisfaction of Jedidiah STONE 2'd of said Killingworth have remised, released, and forever quit-claimed, and do by these presents for ourselves and our heirs & assigns justly and absolutely remise, release, and forever quit-claim unto the said Jedidiah STONE 2'd and to his heirs and assigns forever, all such right and title as we the said Releasors have or ought to have in or to two certain tracts of land in the second society of the town of Killingworth situated at a place called ?? hill. The first tract is bounded as follows (viz) Southerly on the highway, Easterly by land of Jedidiah STONE, Northerly by land of the heirs of Martin LORD Esq and Westerly by Nancy KELSEY's land, containing by estimation two? Acres of land be the same more or less. The second tract of land is in ? Killingworth and situated near the first mentioned tract and Bounded Southerly on highway, Westerly on land of Stephen Tryon Northerly by land of the heirs of Martin LORD Esq and Easterly by lands of Adin PARMELE, containing by estimation ten acres of land be the same more or less.

To have and to hold the premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the said Releasee and his heirs and assigns, to the only use and behoof of the said Releasee and his heirs and assigns forever; so that neither I the said Releasers nor our heirs, or any other person or persons for or in our name and behalf, shall or will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the premises, or any part thereof, but they and every of them, shall by these presents be excluded and forever barred.

In Witness Whereof, we have hereunto set our hands and seals this thirteenth day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty six
