Deed from Benjamin CARTER to Anne PIERSON

To all People to whom these Presents shall come:--GREETING.

KNOW YE, That I Benjamin CARTER of Killingworth in the County of Middlesex & State of Connecticut Administrator on the Estate of Ruth PIERSON late of Killingworth Dec'd.

for the consideration of Sixty eight Dollars 25 cents

Received to my full satisfaction of Anne PIERSON of the Town & County aforesaid in my s'd capacity

Do in my capacity give, grant, bargain, fell, and confirm unto the said Anne a certain parcel of land lying in s'd Killingworth at a place called the long hill together with the fourth part of a Dwelling house Standing thereon Bounded southerly on land lot to John Easterly on Solomon KELSEY - Northerly on land let to Anne - Westerly on highway Containing one acre & one hundred & forty seven rods be the same more or less--

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above granted and bargained premises, with the appurtenances thereof, unto him the said Anne her heirs and assigns forever, to their own proper use and behoof. And also, the said Benjamin in my s'd capacity do for my self and my heirs, executors and administrators, covenant with the said Anne her heirs and assigns; that all and until the ensealing these presents I am in my capacity well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple, and have good to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written, and that the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever.

AND FURTHERMORE, I the said Benja'n in my s'd capacity

Do by these presents, bind my self and my heirs forever to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises, to him the said Leet his heirs and assigns, against all claims and demands whatsoever.

IN WITNESS whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of Sept'r Anno Domini 1806

KNOW YE, That I Benjamin CARTER of Killingworth in the County of Middlesex & State of Connecticut Administrator on the Estate of Ruth PIERSON late of Killingworth Dec'd.

for the consideration of fifty five Dollars 25 cents

Received to my full satisfaction of Anne PIERSON of the Town & County aforesaid in my s'd capacity

Do in my capacity give, grant, bargain, fell, and confirm unto the said Anne two certain tracts or parcels of land lying in s'd Killingworth at a place called the bend of the River. The first piece is at the East end of s'd tract & is bounded Southerly by Highway - Northerly by George ELLIOTT's land. West by land set to Anne & Contains two acres & one hundred & forty five rod of land-

The second piece is at the west end of s'd tract & is bounded Westerly by Highway - Southerly by land set to Submit. Easterly on land set to Anne - Northerly by George ELLIOTT's land - & contains three acres & one hundred & forty seven rod of land be the same more or less - for a more full description of s'd land reference may be had to the Distribution of the Estate of the late Jedidiah PIERSON.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above granted and bargained premises, with the appurtenances thereof, unto him the said Anne her heirs and assigns forever, to their own proper use and behoof.
