To all People to whome these Presents shall Come, Greeting.

KNOW YE, That I Benjamin CARTER of Killingworth In ye County of New London and Coloney of Conecticut in New England

For the Consideration of one Hundred Pounds Current money of old tenor Received to my full Satisfaction, of John PIERSON of ye Same Town County and Coloney afore Said

Do Give, Grant, Bargain, Sell, and Confirm unto the said John PIERSON His Heirs and assigns for Ever a Certain Tract or parcel of Certain Piece of Salt Meadow Lying in ye Township of Killingworth In the Planting Field And is Bounded westerly in part by ye Heirs of Capt. Isaac KELCEY's Meadow and in Part by Ebenezer HULL South by the Hommock River Easterly by Joseph KELCEY's Meadow Northerly by the Heirs of Said Ebenezer HULL's Meadow and is in Length forty three Rods and is in Widthe Six Rods

Also a Strip at ye Northerly End of Said Meadow of one Rod wide and twenty two Rods in Length the whole Contains one Acre And three Quarters

To have, and to hold the above Granted, and Bargained Premises, with the appurtenances thereof, unto I the said John PIERSON his Heirs, and Assigns for ever, to his and their own proper Use and Behoof. And also, I the said Benjamin CARTER Do for my self my Heirs, Executors and Administrators, Covenant with the said John PIERSON His Heirs, and Assigns, That at, and until the Ensealing of these Presents, I am well Seised of the Premises as a good Indefeasible Estate in Fee Simple; and have good Right to Bargain, and Sell the same in Manner, and Form as is above Written; and that the same is Free of all Incumbrances whatsoever. And Farthermore, I the said Benjamin CARTER do by these Presents Bind my self and my Heirs for ever, to Warrant, and Defend the above Granted, and Bargained Premises to him the said John PIERSON His Heirs, and Assigns, against all Claims, and Demands whatsoever. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Second Day of February In the twenty Sixth Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George ye Second of Great Britain, &c., KING. Annoque Domini, 1753
