Know all men by these presents that we Joseph CARTER Abigail CARTER and Sarah NETTLETON all of Killingworth in the County of New London and Coloney of Conecticut in New England for a valluable Consideration to us in hand paid before the Ensealeing here of by Josiah NETTLETON of the Town County & Coloney afore s'd Have Given Granted Remised Released quit claimed and Confirmed and by these presents Do freely fully and absolutly Give Grant Remise Release quit Claime and Confirm unto him the s'd Josiah NETTELTON his heirs and assigns forever all the Right title Intrest Claime and Demand which we the s'd Joseph CARTER Abigail CARTER & Sarah NETTELTON Ever had now have or which we our heirs Executors or Administrators in time to Come may might should or in any wise ought to have or Claime of in and to a Certain piece of Land lying a little East of Cowpen hill containing one acre Bounded west by the Land of Jn'e NETTELTON Deceas'd East by the highway south by the Common together with all the privilidges apurtenances Hereditaments & Comodities there unto belonging or in any wise appertaining To Have and To Hold the above Granted peice of Land and Barn & All appurtenances there unto belonging to the s'd Josiah NETTELTON his heirs and assigns forever to his and their only propper use Benifit and behoof forever freely Clearly and quietly without any manner of Reclaime Challenge or Contradiciton of us the s'd Joseph CARTER Abiaill CARTER and Sarah NETTELTON our heirs Executors or administrators and wit out any accompt Reckning or answer therefore to be given Rendred or done in time to Come to us or to them so that neither we the s'd Joseph CARTER Abigail CARTER Sarah NETTELTON our heirs or assigns nor any other person or persons for us or them or in our or their names Right or sted shall or will at any time here after have Claime Challenge or Demand ye above Granted and Released premises or any part there of but our selves and Every of them shall be utterly Excluded and forever Debarred by these presents in witness whereof we the s'd Joseph CARTER Abigail CARTER and Sarah NETTELTON have hereunto set our hands and seales this Eighth Day of August anno-Dom'e one thousand seven hundred and thirty four, and in the Eighth year of his majesties Reign George the second King of Great Britain &c
