Know all men by these presents that I Benjamin CARTTER of Killingworth in the County of Newlondon and Coloney of Conecticut in New England for and in Consideration of a Certain tract or tracts of Land Building & part of a sawmill made sure to me by a sufficien instrument in wrighting Bareing Date with these presents under the hand and seale of my Brother Samuel CARTTER of the afore s'd Killingworth Have Given Granted Remised Released Quitclaimed Conveyed and Confirmed and by these presents Do for my self my heirs Executors & administrators fully freely Clearly and absolutly Give Grant Remise Release Quit Claim Convey and Confirm to him the s'd Samuel CARTTER his heirs and assigns forever all the Right title Interest Claime Challeng or demand which I the s'd Benjamin CARTER Ever had now have or which I my self my heirs Executors or Administrators in time to Come Can may might should or in any manner or wise ought to have or Claime of in or unto a Certain tract or parcel of Land scituate in s'd Killingworth lying on the hill Called tower Hill which Land I purchased of s'd Samuel CARTTER as by a Deed on Record bareing Date August ye 30th 1728: under his hand and seale doth appear which Land is described as followeth (viz) begining at a white oak tree marked stoans cast about it thence northerly forty two Rods to a white oak tree marked stoans about it thence northwesterly one hundred and twenty Rods to a Blackoak tree marked stoans Cast about it thence southerly ninty two Rods to aheap of stoans thence an hundred and twenty Rods to the first mentioned Corner containing fifty acres Bounded Eastwardly by the highway northerly by the Land of Benjamin GRISWOLD westerly by s'd Sm'll CARTTER's own Land southerly part by s'd Sam'll CARTTER's own Land and part by Land belonging to Abel STEEVENS or however now Bounded or Reputed to be Bounded To Have and To Hold the s'd Demised premises with all the appurtenances Buildings housing Barn fences fruit trees there on being of what sort soever there unto belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the s'd Samuel CARTTER his heirs and assigns forever to his and their only propper use benifit and behoof forever so that neither I the s'd Benjamin CARTTER my heirs Executors Administrators nor any other person or persons in mine or their name or names or in the name Right or ste dof us or Either of us shall or will by any way or means hereafter have Claim or Challeng any part or parcel thereof but we and every of us shall be utterly Excluded and forever Debarred by these presents In witness hereof I the s'd Benjamin CARTTER have hereunto set my hand and seale this nineteenth Day of April AD 1732 and in the fifth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George ye second King of Great Brittain &c
