Deed from George and Jared CARTER to David BUELL

TO ALL PEOPLE TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME-Greeting

Know Ye, That we George CARTER and Jared CARTER of Killingworth in the County of Middlesex and State of Connecticut

For the consideration of fifty eight Dollars

Received to our full satisfaction of David BUELL of said Killingworth do give, grant, bargain, sell, and confirm unto the said David BUELL his heirs and assigns forever one certain tract or parcel of land in the town of Killingworth with a dwelling house thereon standing at being the house and land which came into our possession fro the estate of Harvey TOWNER late of Killingworth by a source? Of foreclosure, said land is bounded as follows, Northerly by Jacob STANNARD's land, Easterly, Southerly and Northerly by highway containing by estimation one fourth of an acre of land be the same more or less.-

To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises, with the appurtenances thereof unto him the said David BUELL his heirs and assigns for ever, to his and their own proper use and behoof. And also, we the said George CARTER & Jared CARTER do for ourselves and our heirs, executors, and administrators covenant with the said David BUELL his heirs and assigns; that at and until the ensealing these presents we are well-seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee-simple, and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written, and that the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever.

And furthermore, we the said George CARTER & Jared CARTER do by these presents bind our selves and our heirs for ever, to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises, to him the said David BUELL his heirs and assigns, against all claims and demands whatsoever.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have hereunto set our hands and seals this eighth day of June Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and twenty six.
