To all Christian People to whom these presents shall Come Greeting Know ye that I John CARTTER of Killingworth in ye County of new London and Coloney of Concticut in New England husband man sendeth greeting Know ye that I ye s'd John CARTER for a valluable Consideration by me in hand Received before the Ensealeing of these present of David BUELL of ye above s'd town county and Coloney husband man Have given granted bargained sold Conveyed & Confirmed and by these presents Do fully freely and absolutly Give Grant bargain, ? convey Confirm unto him the s'd David BUELL his heirs and assigns forever all my Right title Interest Claime or Demand that I now have Ever had or in time to come might or should have of in or unto the thirteenth Division of ye Common or undivided Land in the above s'd Township of Killingworth be it for quantity more or less with all the privilidges to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to him ye s'd David BUELL his heirs and assigns forever to his and their only propper use benifit and behoof forever and I the s'd John CARTTER for my self my heirs Executors Administrators covenant and Ingage the above Bargained premises to him the s'd David BUELL his heirs and assigns Against the Lawfull Claimes or demands of any person or persons forever here after to warrant secure and Defend in witness where of I the s'd John CARTER have set to my hand and seale this 20th day of May AD 1742
