To all People to whom these presents shall come Greeting; Know ye that I Nathaniel CARTER of Killingworth in the County of New London and Colony of Connecticut in New England, for and in Consideration of fifty pounds old tenor money in hand to me, I have Quitted and released unto Benjamin CARTER of Killingworth all my Right that my Hon'd Father gave me Bounded as follows Thus; a certain tract or parcel of land scituate lying and being in the Oyster River Quarter in the Township of Saybrook in the County and Colony aforesaid on the Westerly side of Horse Hill beginning at a heap of stones in Saybrook line about a rod West from Esther SANFORD's Southwest Corner, running thence Southeast to a Croched Wallnut Stadle with a stone in ye Crotch, Thence Southerly to a white oak tree a Corner of William BARBER's land, Thence Westerly to a Wallnut Stadle standing in Saybrook line thence Northerly in Saybrook line to the first mentioned corner, containing twenty four acres more or less, bounded East by Joseph CARTER's land in part & partly by William BARBER's Land West by Saybrook and North by Esther SANFORD's land.

To Have and To Hold the above granted and bargained premises to him the said Benjamin CARTER his & assigns forever to him the said Benjamin CARTER his heirs & assigns forever so that I the said Nath'll CARTER my heirs or assigns shall not by any ways or means whatsoever have hold Chalenge or demand the above released premises or any part or appurtenance thereof but from all Estate Title Interest Claims or Demand theirs or thereunto I & every of them shall be effectually secluded & forever Debarred by these presents.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21st day of November 1745 and in the 19th year of his Majesties Reign.
