Know all men by these presents that I Robert CARTER of Killingworth in the County of New London and Colony of Connecticut in New England for divers good causes and considerations me hereunto moving have given granted remised and released and forever quit.claimed and do by these presents freely and absolutely give grant remise release and forever quit - claim for myself and my heirs executors and administrators unto my son Joseph CARTER of he aforesaid Killingworth to him his heirs executors administrators and assigns all such right challenge interest claim or demand whatsoever that I the said Robert CARTER ever had now have or might could or would or ought to have or make in and to a certain tract or parcel of land containing fifteen acres in Oyster river Quarter scituate in ye Township of Say-Brook in ye County and colony abovesaid lying on the horse hill so called.
To have and to hold all ye above remised and released premises with ye appurtenances priviledges and commodities to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the said Joseph CARTER his heirs and assigns to his and their only use benefit and behoof forever so that neither I myself nor my heirs nor any of us nor any other person or persons for me or in my name right and stead shall or will by any means ways or pretenses whatsoever hereafter have claim challenge or demand any right title or interest of in or to the herein granted premises or any part or parcel thereof and therefrom I myselfe my heirs and assigns shall be utterly excluded and debared forever by these presents moreover I do hereby Bind and oblge my self my heirs and assigns against the lawfull claims or demands of any person or persons whomsoever.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of July A. D. 1735.
