Deed from Katherain & Nehemiah BUSHNELL & John & Lydia POST to William BUSHNELL
To all People to whom these presents shall cone, Greeting: Know ye that We Katherain BUSHNELL, Nehemiah BUSHNELL, John POST and Lydia his wife all of Say Brook in the County of New London in behalf of ourselves and the said Katherain in behalf of Stephen, Hezekiah and Gideon BUSHNELL for the consideration of seven pounds ten shillings money to us in hand paid by William BUSHNELL of the same Say Brook have given granted and sold and by these presents do give grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said William BUSHNELL his heirs and assigns forever all ye right estate and interest that did belong to our Husband and Father William BUSHNELL of Saybrook Dec'd in his own right and in right of his Father Mr. William BUSHNELL Sen'r Dec'd and also what belonged to him in right of his Uncle Thomas BUSHNELL Dec'd in and unto the undivided land at Pataconk in Say Brook aforesaid which Right in the whole is supposed to amount to ye sum of one hundred and twenty three pounds nine shillings right with all the divisions and allotments that ever have or Hereafter shall has laid out upon or belonging thereto.
To have and to hold the above Granted and Bargained Premises with the appurtenances unto Him the said William BUSHNELL his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use and behoof. And also We the said Katherain, Nehemiah, John and Lydia Do for ourselves our heirs Executors & Administrators Covenant with the said William BUSHNELL his heirs and assigns that at and untill the ensealing of these presents We are seized of the Premises as a good Indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and forme as is above written and that the same is free of all Incumbrances whatsoever,
And Furthermore We The said grantors above named Do by these presents Bind ourselves our heirs forever to Warrant and Defend the above Granted and bargained Premises to him the said William BUSHNELL his heirs and assigns against all Claims and demands whatsoever.
In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the 15th day of October in the tenth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second of Great Brittain &c king, Anno Domini 1736
