To all Christian People to whom these presents shall Come Greeting Know ye that I Nathaniel BUELL of Killingworth In the County of Newlondon and Colony of Conecticut in New England yeoman for and In Consideration of the sum of Eleven pounds four shilling Currant money of the Coloney afore s'd to me in hand before the Ensealing here of well and truly paid by Robert CARTER of the town County and Coloney afore s'd Husbandman the Receipt whereof I Do hereby acknowledge have Given Granted Bargained Sold alliened Conveyed and Confirmed and by these presents Do freely and fully and absolutely Give, Grant Bargain sell allien Confirm and Convey unto him the s'd Robert CARTER his heirs and assigns forever fourteen acres three quarters and thirty one Rods of Land to be laid out in the Township of Killingworth afore s'd it being the 122: lott in the Eighth Division To Have and To Hold ye s'd Granted and Bargained premises with all the appurtenances privilidges and Comodities thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the s'd Robert CARTER his heirs and assigns forever to his and their only propper use benefit and behoof forever and I the s'd Nathaniel BUELL for my self my heirs Executors & Administrators Do Covenant promise and Grant to and with the s'd Robert CARTER his heirs and assigns that before the Ensealing hereof I am the true sole and Lawfull owner of the above Bargained fourteen acres three quarters & thirty one rods of Land and have in my self Good Right full power and Lawfull authority to Bargain and sell the same in manner as a ?? and that the s'd Robert CARTER his heirs and assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times forever here after by force and virtue of these presents Lawfully peaceably and quietly Have Hold use occupie possess and Enjoy the s'd Demised premises free and Clear freely and Clearly acquitted and discharged of and from all and all manner of former or other Gifts Grants Bargains sales or incumbrances in the Law or halso Ever moreover I the s'd Nathaniel BUELL for my self my heirs Executors and Administrators Do Covenant and Ingage the above Demised premises unto him the s'd Robert CARTER his heirs and assigns against the Lawfull Claimes or Demands of any person or persons whomso Ever forever hereafter to warrant secure and Defend In witness whereof I the said Nathaniel BUELL have here unto set my hand and seale this twenty second Day of December Anno Diminie one thousand seven hundred and twenty four and In the Eleventh year of his majesties Rign George King of Great Brittain &c. Alwaies provided and it is to be under stood that the above s'd Nathaniel BUELL doeth Reserve all the Rights in ye Common and undivided Land that may belong to or arise upon the above Bargained and Granted tract of Land
