To All Christian People to whom these presents shall come I Martha BARBER of Killingworth in ye County of Newlondon and Colonie of Conecticut in New England sendeth Greeting Know Yee that I the s'd Martha BARBER for a valuable consideration in hand received of Ebenezer HURD of Woodberry in the County of Fairfield and Colonie afores'd have given granted, bargained Sold Alienated Conveyed and Confirmed and by these presents do fully freely, and absolutely give, grant, bargain sell alien convey and Confirm unto him the s'd Ebenezer HURD his heirs and assigns forever one whole and full Third part of the Musu?? And home Lott and Meadow adjoining which was my Honored Fathers William BARBER's Scituate in the Town of Killingworth aboves'd the home Lott in the whole contains seven acres more or less in breadth S??ien ?? in length from the street on the north to the Meadow on the south, bounded Western with the home Lott, Mr Jared ELIOT East mitt the home Lott, John CRANE, North on Gr Street South on ye Meadow - the Meadow ye whole contiaing Six & ½ acres more or less in breadth seventee Rods bounded Northerly by the meadow, the s'd Mr. ELIOT in part and part by swamplant? Other ? by the River and C? that goes up to the ????? home Lott: together with one whole third part of the House barn & ?? fences and frute trees of what sorte soever, with all the privileges appurtenances & commodities to the s'd Third part belonging or in any waies appertaining to him the s'd Eb'nr HURD his heirs and asigns forever to have and to Hold the above granted and bargained premises to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever and I the s'd Martha BARBER for my self my heirs Executors and administrators do Covenant promice and grant to and with the s'd Ebenezer HURD his heirs and assigns that before the ensealing here I am the true owner of the above s'd granted premises and have in myself good right, full power and Lawful Authority to bargain and sell the same in manner as afores'd, and that the s'd Ebenezer HURD Shall and may from time to time and at all times hereafter by force and Vertue of these presents Lawfully peaceably and quietly Have, hold use occupie and enjoy the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances free and clear freely and clearly Exonerated and discharged of and from all manner of former gifts grants bargains Wills Dowries Entayles or Extenes whatsoever furthermore I the s'd Martha BARBER for my self my heirs Executors do Covenant and engage the above bargained premises to him the s'd Ebenezer HURD his heirs and assigns against the Lawful Cliams and demands of any person or persons whatsoever forever hereafter in witness whereof I the s'd Martha Barber have hereunto sett my hand and seale this fifty of Aprill in the Tenth year of her Magesties Reign Annoquedomini Seventeen hundred and Eleven
