The Lands of Nathaniell PRATT in Potopauge quarter belonging belonging To Say-Brook
Recorded May the 30, 1692.

1. The mannor house out house Barn & Stable his homestead orchard and plow land Being ten acres and a half (be it more or less) Being bounded north ward partly upon lands of his brother John PRATT and parly upon the lands of Robert LAY: Eastward upon the land of his Brother John PRATT Southward upon the Cove Westward partly upon the lands of Capt. John FENNER and partly upon the highway.

2. Two acres and a half (be it more or less) also of upland being upon the point being bounded Northward upon the lands of Robert LAY Eastward upon the great river, Southward upon the Cove. Westward upon the lands of his brother John PRATT.

3. Six acres of upland & about an acre of boggie meadow (be it more or less) lying in Scotch plaine being bounded Northward upon the land of Robert LAY, Eastward upon the muddy river Southward upon the land of Joseph PRATT Westward upon land of his mothers thirds

4. Seven acres of meadow together with swamp (be it more or less) lying at the upper end of eight mile meadow. Being bounded northward by the land of William PRATT, Eastward upon the land of John FENNER Southward upon the land of Mr. Nathaniel LYNDE westward upon the cove.

Nathaniell PRATT & Sarah BEAMONT were married each to other the 2d day of May 1688.

This Indenture made the first day of Aprill By and between Ensign John PRATT and Joseph PRATT both of Saybrook in the County of New London and in the Colony of Connecticut as joint administrators upon the estate of our honored father Lieut. William PRATT late of Saybrook deceased of the one part by and with the consent of the Rest of the Relatives: and Nathaniell PRATT of Say-brook aforesaid on the ot6her part. Witnesseth that the said John & Joseph PRATT for and in consideration of the sum of six pounds in Currant provision pay this day distributed according to the honored Court of New Londons distribution among the sons and daughter of our deceased father and according to the first apprizement in the inventory Have by and with the rest concurred, made sale of and doe by these presents assign and make over to the said Nathaniell his heirs executors administrators and assigns a certaine tract or parcell of land lying and being in Soctch plaine in the bounds of Say-Brook contained by estimation Six acres more or less. Bounded on the east on Nath'll PRATT's land on the West on Samuell PRATT's land on the South on Joseph PRATT's land and on the north on the land of Robert LAY. Ho have and to hold all and singular the said lands & appurtenances with all benefitts and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to him the said Nathaniell his heirs and assigns forever free and clear from all trouble and molestation or disturbance from by or under us or our heirs executors administrators.

Stephen BUSHNELL the mark he puts upon his Cattle, horses, sheep, and swing is a half penny on the underside of the neer ear, and a half peny on the uper side of the off ear.

Entered ye above mentioned mark to Joseph Sen, to Joseph STANNARD Sept. ye 13th 1720, who ads a swallows tails on ye neer ear to his sheep.

The Marriage and lands of Daniell BUCKINGHAM.

Daniell BUCKINGHAM and Sarah LEE were married each to other the 24th day of May in the year 1693.

June 12th 1693. His housing and lands are as follows,

1. his house lott in the town plot being one acre of land mor or less bounded northward with the lands of Mr. William WELSTEAD Eastward upon his own land Southward upon the meeting house commons and westward upon the highway together with the houseing upon it.

2. Also in the town plot 4 acres (be it more or less) Bounded northward upon his own lands, Eastward upon the lands of John KIRTLAND Southward upon the meeting house common and Westward upon his own land & and the lands of Mr. William WELSTEAD.

3. more also in the town plot 3 acres of land (be it more or less) Bounded northward upon the highway by the water side Eastward upon lands of Joseph BLAGUE and the lands of the heirs of Samuell COGSWELL, Southward upon his own land and westward upon lands lying in common

4. Three acres of meadow (be it more or less adjoining to the long point.

5. Six acres of meadow (be it more or less) on the side of a creek called ragged rock creek

6. Two acres of meadow bet it more or less) on the side of a creek called ragged rock creek

7 The fifty lot in the east division of Pataconke containing thirty three acres & a half being thirty rods in breadth, abutting to the lands of John FENNER on the north & to the lands of the heirs of Robert BULL on the south.

8 Five acres of upland upon Tilleys point plaine bought of Mr. Mathew BELLAMY by Mr. John WESTOLL

9 Also such an interest in the syder mill as to make up the fruit of his orchard without Charge of tole or repairs & this priviledge to continue for ever which said repair & this priviledge to continue for ever which said syder mill formerly belonged to Mr. John WESTOLL

This above mentioned housing & severall parcells of lands & priviledges given by Mr. John WESTALL late of Saybrook unto Sarah sometime LEE now BUCKINGHAM all of which is now right fully possessed upon her marriage.

The ear marks of Daniell BUCKINGHAM's Cattle, sheep and swine. June 12th 1693. Is a crop and a slit into the Crop on the off ear & a half peny on the underside of the same ear, with a half peny on the under side of the same ear with with a half peny on the underside of the near ear.

Entered Jany 2d 1750/1. The mark that ensign Dan'll BUCKINGHAM puts on his Creatures is the mark above written which was his fathers-

Know all men by these presents that I Samuell MARVIN of the Colony of Connecticut of the County of N: London of the town of Lyme for a valuable Consideration that is to say twenty pounds in Currant money: ten pounds of which I doe acknowledge to have received at the ensealing and delivery here of have sold and alienated to Thomas BUCKINGHAM Junior and Daniell BUCKINGHAM both of them of the abovesaid Colony and County and of the Town of Say-Brook a certain percell of meadow being by estimation six acres be it more or less lying and being in the Township of Saybrook at a place near the mouth of oyster river commonly called the Hammock abutting westerly of the sea Southerly on the meadow of Thomas DUNKE easterly on the meadow of Daniell BUCKINGHAM and the great Hammock and northerly on part of the said Hammock and partly on the meadow of Tho BUCKINGHAM Senior: of Say-Brook, which percell of meadow together with all the priviledges and appurtenances thereunto belonging I doe acknowledge to have sod and enfeoffed unto the s'd Tho and Daniell BUCKINGHAM them and their heirs administrators and assigns to have hold possess and enjoy forever without any let or molestation from me my heirs administrators or assigns for everer or any from me my heirs wel or them and doe by these avouch myself to have full power to make this conveyance and doe ingage myself my heirs administrators and assigns to vindicate the same against all persons whatsoever and unto the true performance of the premises to the said Thomas BUCKINGHAM junior and Daniell BUCKINGHAM their heirs and assigns forever I doe bind myself my heirs executors administrators and assigns as Witness my hand and seale this first of July one thousand six hundred and ninety seven.

The Lands of James LORD
1697 March 29th

Belonging to him from the estate of his father William late of Say-Brook deceased which [symbol for per] order from Benjamin LORD his brother Administrator to be recorded is as follows

Imprimis 1. Nine acres of upland (more or less) in his home lott Bounded east to the highway north by the land of the abovesaid Benjamin LORD west by the highway that goeth through the middle of the west field so called and south by the lands of Ensigns John PARKER.

2d Sixteen acres lying in the pasture in the same west field Being bounded east by the land of Benjamin LORD North by little creek west by the lands of Daniell LORD and south by the stone hills

Five acres and a half of meadow lying at Tilleys point being bounded west by goodmans WHITTLESEY's land north by a hammock of upland and east by said WHITTLESEY's land and south by a great Creek.

February 19, 1699:700 Also: a fifty pound right in the town commons.

February 19, 1699, also a fifty pound right in the town commons.

Feby 12th 1709/10 Then Ordered by Mr. Benjamin LORD administrator to Record to Mr. James LORD Three acres of meadow: I abuts East on the river: South on Benjamin LORD West on a highway North on John WHITTLESEY.

The Lands of William DUDLEY Given him by the town February the 7th 1675

Being a small piece to set a house upon lying and being on the north side of the town plat of Say-Brook being thirty two rods and a half of upland lying in length six rods & a half and of upland lying and being in length six rods & a half in breadth five rods and is bounded northward with the highway: Eastward with the lands of John WHITTLESEY Southward with the orchard that was major MASON's and westward with the Commons

2d meadow Land of Deacon William DUDLEY's Bought of Joshua BUSHNELL Sept the 29th 1693, being eight acres (more or less) lying & being in Say-Brook in the meadow comonly called the ragged rock meadow near the round hill being bounded northerly by rocky upland easterly by the meadow called John RICHMAN's meadow Southerly by a creed and Westerly by the meadow that was John BUSHELL's with the priviledges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or mor fully doth appear by a deed of sale given under the said Joshua BUSHNELL's his hand and seal bearing date with this record, and acknowledged before me

3- At a town meeting February the 28th 1692/3.
There was granted by voate and given unto Dea: William DUDLEY a certain piece of boggs and upland being about five or six acres (more or less) bounded on the north by the Cove on the west by the Common upland on the by the lands of John WHITTLESEY on the east by the boggs of John WHITTLESEY and said DUDLEY's own boggs.

4. The meadow land of Dea: William DUDLEY Bought of the Reverend Mr. Thomas BUCKINGHAM and Dea. William PARKER, the 24th of Aprill 1694. Being by Estimation Two acres of Meadow (be it more or less, lying and being in Saybrook in the meadow commonly called the ragged rock meadow. Being bounded northward by the meadow land of Zackery SANFORD Southward by the meadow land of the said Deacon W'm DUDLEY Eastward by the Creek and westward by the upland To him the said Dudley his heirs executors administrators and assigns by the aforesaid Mr. Tho: BUCKINGHAM & Dea: William PARKER sold with the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging as more fully doth appear by a deed of sale given under their hands & seals bearing date with this record and by them in the name and by order of the ch of ch: at Saybrook acknowledged to be their act and deed before Nath'll LYNDE Comis'r

The aboves'd meadow did formerly belong to John RICKMAN late of Saybrook deceased and by him given to the Church at Saybrook and now by the afores'd parties with the consent of the Church is sold to Dea: William DUDLEY his heirs &c.

The Lands of John WASTOLL Bought of John PARKER.

Know all men, that I John PARKER of Say-Brook for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving but especially for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five pounds in hand received have bargained sold alienated confirmed and made over and doe by these presents bargain sell alienate confirm and make over unto John WESTOLL of Saybrook aforesaid a parcel of upland and meadow containing eight acres or there about scituate lyeing and being in Saybrook aforesaid in the field commonly called the thousand acres and bounded by the land of the said John WASTOLL east and north, the highway on the West and William SOUTHMATE on the South from me and my heirs to him and his heirs for ever, To have hold possess and quietly enjoy the said lands with all and singular the priviledges and appurtenances thereunto belonging in any wise appertaining without let trouble or molestation either by me or any for me or in my name I do also engage to clear the said land from all rates bargains sales mortgages or other incumbrances whatsoever before the day of the date hereof for and in consideration as above specified I have granted this my deed of sale whereunto I have annexed my and seal this twenty eight day of March 1676

Petapauge society was organized in 1674 by authority of the Commissioners Know all men that whereas att a meeting of ye proprietors of Potopauge Quarter in Saybrook Feby ye 18th 1714/15 at ye house of Lieut W'm PRATT it was agreed that there should be fourty acres of land layed out to a 100 pound Right to each proprietor according to his Right & s'd agreement was put upon Record in said Quarter Book together with Several other acts Relating thereunto & whereas we whose names are hereunto subscribed belonging to ye 10th & 11th No. in ye Draught of said Division of land have been hitherto passed over & neglected we do therefore again more publlely make our demand & choice of our part of said Division which is 60 acres fourty to ye under written John FENNER & 20 acres to ye underwritten Tho STARKEY I ye s'd John FENNER Do make Choice of a piece of land about 60 or 70 rods Nor. Easterly from Deep River falls in said quarter adjoining to ye Northward side of s'd River & ye said STARKEY Do make choice of a piece of land adjoining to Daniell PRATT's land on ye north side of it & if there be not enough for my 20 acres then I Choose to take ye Remainder about 60 or 70 Rods Southward of ye East end of ye land formerly belonging to Lt. Nathaniell PRATT not far Southward of long hill in s'd quarter & we ye said John FENNER & Tho STARKEY do Desire you Mr. Sam'll WILLARD Town Clerk to record this Instrument & Do by these presents forbid & Caution you against ye Recording said Lands that we have pitched upon to any other & we Do hereby Ingage to bare you harmless

Know all men by these presents that I Richard RAYMOND of Say-Brook doe for good causes & in Consideration of the sume of eighty pounds in good merchantable provision pay according to the County price or in stead thereof forty bound in Currant money of New England to be paid according to Bill and agreement made betwixt by self Richard RAYMOND & my son Daniell & my son Daniell RAYMOND Do by these presents sell aliene transfer & confirm and pass over unto my loving son Daniell RAYMOND of Saybrook in the County of New London & Colony of Connecticut all my houseing both dwelling house barn and all other houseing together with my house lot and all my accommodation in Saybrook together with in the oxpasture and priviledges in Commonages to my son Daniell RAYMOND to him his heirs executors for ever to have & to hold all the said lands with all the priviledges and appurtenances thereto belonging to the said Daniell Raymond his heirs & executors for ever with this proviso that no part of said lands or houseing be sold or disposed of out of the family of RAYMOND's & also in care that I Richard RAYMOND should desire to live in Saybrook then my son Daniell shall obliged to receve me into the house & provide sutably for my comfort I allowing him meete Recompence, And I, do hereby oblige my selfe that the said Daniell RYAMOND his heirs & executors shall quietly and peaceably posses & enjoy the said housing and lands with the priviledges thereunto belonging for ever & in confirmation hereof I oblige and bind myself for ever & in confirmation here of for ever hereof I oblige and bind my myself executors firmly by these presents as Witness my hand & seal in New London this 2d day of January 1690.

To all Christian People to whom these presents writing shall come I, John RAYMOND of Norwalke son and heir of Richard RAYMOND late of Saybrook in the County of New London in New England deceased sendeth Greeting &c

Know yee that I the said John RAYMOND for divers good causes and considerations Considerations mee thereunto moveing and especially in Consideration natural love an affection to my well beloved Brother Daniell RAYMOND of Say-Brook aforesaid mariner as also for his care off and charge about our Honored father in the time of his weakness Do by these presents give grant surrender make over confirm and entitle to and with and unto all my right title Interest estate claim or demand whatsoever whereby I the said John RAYMOND my heirs executors administrators or assigns might or could claim or demand either by vertue of heirship or by or any other influence in writing or any other wais or meaning whatsoever all and every our honored fathers estate as well his house and house barne and homestead as all his lands as well uplands and meadow in the said township of Say-Brook to the said Daniell RAYMOND his heirs executors administrators or assigns from the day of the date hereof for ever and I doe fully and absolutely invest my said loving Brother Daniell with all my power that I might or could have by vertue of heirship from all persons or persons laying claim to the said estate by from or under me or mine, as Witness my hand and seal this 12th day of March Anno Domini 1692.

Being Five Acres and a half of upland and is bounded Eastward with the land of said Stephen POST West with the land called the oxpasture Northward with the highway to Oyster River And Southward with the meadow and land of said Stephen POST together with the priviledges & appurtenances thereunto belonging as more fully doth appeare by a deed of sale given under the hand of said Samuell LORD his hand and seal bearing date with this record & acknowledged January the 27th 1693/4 Before Nath'll LYNDE Comis'r.

The lands of Stephen POST lying and being at the hammocks in Say-Brook being about four acres of meadow land (be it more or less granted and given to his father Lieut. Abraham POST at a town meeting February the 6th 1672 being bounded Southward and Eastward upon the river and northward upon the Creek, and Westward upon the meadow land of Thomas DUNK which s'd Thomas DUNK doth hereby for himself his heirs and assigns grant liberty unto the said Stephen POST his heirs and assigns yearly to cart off his hay thrugh his meadow to goe down to the sea when he hath ocasion soe to doe. 6- 1662. Bought of John WESTALL Twelve acres of upland in the aforesaid field bounded east to the highway and South to the land of Robert CHAPMAN and West to the lands of Christopher HUNTINGTON and north to the lands of Thomas ADGATE

7-1662 Bought of John WESTALL at the ragged Rock five acres of meadow (be it more or less) being bounded northward by the meadow land of Joseph INGHAM and Westward by the meadow lands of William PARKER Senior and Alexander CHALKER senior

8-Sept 23d 1673. Bought of Andrew BURGER Sixteen Acres of upland (be it more or less) lying in the thousand acres field formerly belonging to Mr. John WESTALL, Bounded on the east by a highway on the north by Reyneld MARVIN's Land on the west & the South by William LORD's land with all the rights & title there unto belonging as more fully doth appear by a bill of sale under the said Andrew BERGIER his hand bearing date with this record.

9-1663-Bought of Major John MASON, nine acres of meadow land (be it more or less) lying in Tillies point meadows bounded north by the meadow of Renold MARVIN East by the great River South by the lands of Robert NICHOLS & by a creek And west by the meadow land of Francis GRISWOLD.

10-March the 9th 1684 The land of Lydia LORD now Lydia DUNKE bought of John TILLETSON Cordwainer being two parcells of land one of upland & the other of meadow viz: Six acres of upland (more or less) in the old oxpasture bounded northward with the lands of John KIRTLAND and Eastward with the Cove, and Southward with the lands of Abraham POST and Westward with the highway and also six acres of meadow (more or less) in the west marsh bounded northward with the meadow of Mr. Simon LYNDE and eastward with the upland of the said LYNDE and Southward with the meadow of John PARKER and westward upon the town meadow with all the priviledges and appurtenances belonging to the aforesaid parcells of land as more fully appears by a deed of sale under the said John TILLETSON and

13, The second parcell being about one acre & a quarter lying also in the thousand acre field, abutting West to Oyster River, and South to a Creek that divides the oxpasture and north to the lands of the heirs of William LORD with all the priviledges & appurtenances belonging to each of the aforesaid parcells of land as more fully doth appear by a deed of sale under the said Samuell JONES his hand and seal bearing date with this record:

14-June the 10th 1685. Bought of James FITZ-GERALD [Fitz-gerald] Seven acres of land in the west field (be it more or less, Bounded northward with the lands of John BUSHNELL and eastward with the lands of Zackariah SANFORD & Thomas NORTON and Southward with the lands of John BULL and westward with the highway leading to the mill with all the priviledges & appurtenances thereunto belonging as more fully appears by a deed of sale under the said James FITZ-GERALD & Elizabeth his wife their hands and seals bearing date with this record-

15. May the 30th 1688. Bought of John CLARKE Two percells of land one of upland and the other of meadow lying & being in the West field commonly called the thousand acres which two percells of land sometime belonging to Greenfell LARABY marriner late of Saybrook deceased and by Mr. James CORNISH appointed by the Hon'rd Court Administrator of that estate sold to John CLARK the father of John CLARKE aforesaid The upland being five acres now bounded South west & north with the lands of the aforesaid Benjamin LORD and eastward with the highway that leads to the mill,

16 The meadow being two acres & a half lying west of the stone pitts and now bounded north and east & south with the lands of s'd Benjamin LORD & West with a creek with all the priviledges and appurtenances belonging to the aforesaid percells of land as more fully doth appear by a deed of sale given under the said John CLARK's and Rebeckah his wife their hands and seales bearing date with this record,

First of July: 63 at a town meeting it was voated and agreed upon that William LORD shall have a fifty pound lot of upland at the stone pitts adjoining to his other lotment which was formerly granted, only provided that the stone pitts with a highway to them for the stone pitts after the laying out of Frances BUSHNELL's meadow and also he shall have the town bogs at tillies point caseway which meadow at the stone pitts and bogs the said William LORD hath upon the account of a fifty pound lotment and an acre & quarter of meadow that Mr. NICHOLS had at tillies point and if is like wise voated that Mr. CHAPMAN shall go along with the others measurers instead of Mr. LORD for to measure out his land.

To all Christian people to whome these presents writing shall come: William LORD of Say-brook in the Government of Connecticut in New England Know ye that I the aforesaid William LORD doth Covenant and make an agreement with Lydia BROWN of Rehoboth in the Government of New Plymouth with whom the Lord permit I shall make my beloved wife: the agreement being as followeth That whereas the abovesaid Lydia BROWN bringing an estate with her which was valued at the full sum of fower score and five pounds being now visible estate I the aforesaid William LORD doth freely and absolutely covenant promise and grant to and with the said Lydia BROWN that if it please the Almighty God by his providence to take me away by death so that the said Lydia my beloved wife doth survive and outlive me that I will double the aforesaid estate which I received with her being at before mentioned fower score and five pounds so doubly it will amount to the full sum of one hundred and twenty pounds at my decease,

In confirmation whereof I the said William LORD do freely and absolutely bind over to the said Lydia and her heirs forever a certaine living both houses and lands scituate and belonging to the aforesaid town of Saybrook that is to say as followeth seventy and three acres of upland lying and being in the field commonly known by the thousand acres field, likewise sixteen acres of upland lying upon the west side of Oyster River being in that quarter like two hundred and fifty pound estate of meadow lying as follows five acres of meadow lying at ragged rock and nine acres of meadow that lyes in Oyster river meadow, and fifty pounds Estate of meadow lying near to Tillies point that is not yet laid out as also six acres and a half of meadow lying at plum Bushes all the aforesaid tracts of meadow afore mentioned the which aforesaid living I the said William LORD doe by these presents make over unto the said Lydia and her heirs forever with these conditions as followeth That if the said Lydia my beloved wife doe survive and outlive me at my decease she is to have the aforesaid sume of one hundred and seventy pounds out of the aforesaid liveing but if the aforesaid living come short and being valued it doth not amount to the aforesaid sume of one hundred and seventy pounds I the said William LORD doth covenant and engage that it shall be made up to her out of my other estate, but if it be valued and it amounts to more than the aforesaid of one hundred and seventy pounds then the said Lydia my beloved wife is to be Responsible and return the over plus to the heirs or assigns of the said William LORD according as her shall dispose of it by his will. But if the only wise God so order it by his providence that the said William LORD doe outlive and survive my beloved wife then I the said William LORD doe also covenant promise and grant to and with my beloved wife that she shall have free liberty to dispose of the sum of fower score and five pounds being the sum of her estate I receive with her which fower score and five pounds I the said William LORD doe bind me my heirs for the returning or repaying unto my beloved wife and unto her dispose To the true and faithful performance of all the aforesaid premises I the said William LORD do bind me and my heirs executors, In Witness here of I have hereunto set my hand and seale this third day of June in the year of our Lord God one thousand six hundred sixty and fower

The highway from oyster river highway towards the mill, and running out of Francis GRISWOLD's to the common four rods wide, away to the stone pitts from oyster river highway between Goodman TRABY's lot and John OLMSTED's of two rods wide.

Two highways in the planting field of a rod and half wide running from the great highway to the cove at the north and south ends of Goodman PARKER's lott in the plating field,

At a town meeting by voate agreed that the records of Say-Brooke highways that are upon record in the Alphabete of the town Ledger be transcribed in the volumne of said ledger- And whereas in said record mention is made of a highway four rod wide to the western point it is ordered to be recorded a highway of three rod wide from the eight acres gate through land commonly called the ox pasture and so through Collonell George FENWICK's thousand pound allotment now in the improvement of John KIRTLAND Two rod wide unto Mr. LYND's his land and the former record of five rod wide to the western point to be null and void.

This indenture made the 14th day of May 1695, In the Seventh yeare of their Majesties Reign William & Mary of England France Scotland and Ireland: king & queene Defenders of the faith &c: Between Josia DIBBELL and Hannah his wife both of Hartford in the Colony of Connecticut in New England of the one part and John TILLETSON of Say Brook in the County of New London and Colony aforesaid Cordwainer on the other part Witnesseth that the said Josiah DIBELL and Hannah his wife for divers good causes and considerations of six acres of land at Potunk in the bounds of Hartford aforesaid made over and confirmed to the said Josia DIBELL by the said John TILLETSON as by his deed of sale will appear: Have bargained, sold given, granted, alienated exchanged, and confirmed, and by these presents bargaine, sell, give, grant alienate exchange & confirm unto the said John TILLETSON his heirs executors administrators and assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land Containing by estimation Six acres be it more or less lying and being in the thousand acres in the bounds of Say Brook aforesaid. Bounded on the West on Oyster river stream on the South with the lands of Samuell LORD formerly Capt. To have and to hold all and singular the afore bargained premises woods underwoods priviledges Commonages benefits Rights members proprietres and appurtenances in any kind or manner whatsoever to all any & every of the aforesaid land belonging or appertaining in any manner or wise whatsoever unto the said John TILLETSON his heirs executors administrators or assign to his and their sole and only use benefit and behoof forever: and wee the said John & Hanna DIBBELL for us our heirs executors and administrators and assigns by these presents in manner and form following viz: That wee the Josia and Hanna DIBBELL att and before the establishing and delivery here of are the true and lawfull owners of all and every the aforesaid bargained premises an have in ourselved full right power and lawfull authority to sell and dispose of the same and also that we the said att and before the ensealing and delivery hereof are the true and lawfull owner of all and very of these aforesaid bargained premises and have in our selves full right power and lawfull authority to sell and dispose of the same and also what wee the said Josia and Hanna DIBBLE for us our heirs executors and administrators shall and will from time to time and at all times Warrant maintain and defend all and very the aforesaid lands and every part and parcell there of against all person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or demanding the same and wee the said Josia & Hanna DIBBELL by these presents doe give to the said John TILLETSON full possession seacin and delivery of the aforesaid land.
